Zunächst soll ein Überblick über die verschiedenen Begriffe der Ungleichheit geschaffen und ihre Entstehungsgründe beleuchtet werden. Anschließend wird die Bildungsungleichheit im Allgemeinen skizziert, sowie die erschwerten Bildungsmöglichkeiten der ausländischen Kinder im Besonderen veranschaulicht werden. Daran anknüpfend sollen die Ursachen für diese Bildungsbarrieren herausgearbeitet werden. Schließlich soll zusammenfassend die Problematik im Bildungswesen und die dringende Notwendigkeit einer Reform dargestellt und der Frage nachgegangen werden, wodurch diese Bildungsbarrieren entstehen und wie sie möglicherweise behoben werden können.
