Although emigration was high among all the population, due to a lack of economic opportunity, the rate of Protestant emigration was disproportionate in this period. Candidates who have already studied the Anthology of Contemporary Irish Poetry will be familiar with the idea and concept of people and the environment, and benefit accordingly. A girl and her father attempt to save a horse caught in a deluge. I think it merits it’s own distinction mainly because most Irish people can quickly and easily place someone if they have a Cork accent.

English kings traveled to Ireland on several occasions to effect order and increase allegiance to the Crown.
